You Can Just Fake It

Collection of robot cartoon-doodles with red scribbles, numbered inventories, and brief text a la Jenny Holzer but much, much worse.  All drawings are 8.5″ x 11″ on typing paper, with pencil, pen, rubber stamping and inkjet ink. The title ‘You Can Just Fake It’ comes from my clarinet teacher, the great Benny Ehr who I studied with in Wisconsin for many years. During our lessons he often noted that I wasn’t really reading the music, that I was just ‘faking it.’  He was right, of course. But as far as these robots are concerned, faking it is perfectly okay. After all, they involve artificial intelligence.
